I am proud to officially announce my candidacy as the Republican candidate for Judge of the Seventh District Court of Appeals in Ohio for the year 2026. This seat serves the citizens of Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Harrison, Jefferson, Mahoning, Monroe, and Noble counties.
For over 37 years, I have dedicated my career to the practice of law, advocating for clients in courtrooms across Ohio and in some of our nation's highest judicial arenas. I am admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the United States District Courts for both the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, and the Ohio Supreme Court.
My experience extends beyond the courtroom. As Chief of the Western Reserve Joint Fire District and a certified firefighter, EMT, and fire inspector, I have spent decades serving my community in some of its most urgent moments. These dual roles—as a legal advocate and first responder—have deepened my understanding of justice, responsibility, and public service.
In 2023, I was honored to receive the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys’ Outstanding Advocacy Award. This recognition reflects a career-long commitment to the principles of fairness, diligence, and integrity in the practice of law.
The Court of Appeals is a critical guardian of legal fairness and constitutional rights. As Judge, I will bring my decades of legal experience, my firsthand knowledge of public safety, and a strong conservative judicial philosophy to the bench. I believe in interpreting the law as written and applying it without bias, ensuring equal justice for all.
I look forward to earning your trust and support for this important judicial seat. Together, we can ensure that our appellate court remains a place of fairness, accountability, and constitutional integrity.
